Privacy policy
How Free to do app handles local task data, device permissions, advertising, speech recognition, and purchases.

This policy applies to Free to do app, published by FREE MOBILE APPS STUDIO ONE MEMBER COMPANY LIMITED (“we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains how information is handled when you use the app.
1. Tasks and local data
Tasks, projects, areas, tags, planning history, preferences, and attached images are stored locally on your device. No account is required for core use. Deleting the app or losing access to the device may permanently remove this data unless you have a usable device backup.
2. Device permissions
Features you choose may request access to your calendar, photo library, camera, microphone, speech recognition, notifications, or clipboard images. These permissions support calendar context, attachments, voice capture, and reminders. You can change permissions in device Settings.
3. Advertising, purchases, and verification
The free version may display ads supplied by advertising partners, which may process device identifiers, IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and approximate location inferred from an IP address. Apple or Google processes purchases. When server-side receipt verification is enabled, an anonymous session, access token, and purchase receipt or token may be sent to our verification service to validate and restore the Remove Ads entitlement and prevent fraud.
4. Speech and platform services
If you use voice input, your device platform’s speech-recognition service may process audio and transcription data under its own terms. Calendar, photo, camera, notification, and clipboard features also rely on device-platform services.
5. Sharing and legal disclosures
We do not sell the content you create in Free to do app. Information may be processed by the providers described above only as needed to operate a feature, process a purchase, provide advertising where applicable, secure the service, or comply with law. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, or prevent fraud and abuse.
6. Retention and security
Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app, subject to device backups. Service providers retain information according to their policies and only as long as needed for their stated purpose, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
7. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, they are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards under applicable law.
8. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children below the age at which they may consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately.
9. Your choices
You can delete tasks and attachments in the app; revoke calendar, photo, camera, microphone, speech, notification, and tracking permissions; limit personalized advertising where supported; and uninstall the app to remove local data, subject to device backups.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
