Terms of use

1. The app

Sleep Tracker records sleep-related sounds, identifies possible snore-like events, plays short clips, and presents nightly scores, counts, minutes, timelines, history, and trends. Recording and analysis are performed entirely on your device, and results depend on microphone placement, background noise, hardware, interruptions, and environmental conditions.

2. License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for lawful purposes on devices you own or control. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, bypass security or purchase controls, interfere with the service, or misuse the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

3. Not medical advice or a medical device

Sleep Tracker is a personal awareness and reference tool. It does not diagnose, prevent, monitor, treat, or cure sleep apnea or any other condition and is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional. Seek professional advice for persistent or concerning symptoms.

4. Recording consent and lawful use

You are responsible for complying with laws and obtaining any consent required before recording audio, especially where another person may be recorded. Do not use the app for covert, unlawful, or privacy-invasive recording.

5. Local data and backups

You are responsible for reviewing, deleting, exporting where available, and backing up recordings you wish to keep. Deleted recordings or data lost with the device or app may not be recoverable.

6. Advertising and premium access

Free users may see clearly labeled advertising in eligible app surfaces. An optional lifetime purchase removes ads and unlocks the full report archive, trends, playback, and export features. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Legacy subscriptions, if previously purchased, may continue to renew until canceled through your Apple Account. Apple handles payment, restoration, cancellation, and refund requests.

7. Updates and availability

We may update, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, compatibility, legal compliance, or product quality. We do not promise that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, accessory, service, or operating-system version.

8. Disclaimer

Sound detections, labels, timestamps, scores, and trends are estimates and may contain false positives, missed events, or incomplete recordings. Never rely on the app for an emergency or medical decision.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or business interruption arising from use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security risks, nonpayment, abuse, or material violations of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or the law that must apply in your country or region.
