Terms of use

These Terms govern your use of Tape Measure (the “App”), provided by FREE MOBILE APPS STUDIO ONE MEMBER COMPANY LIMITED (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

The App helps estimate distances, dimensions, sizes, areas, and other physical properties using supported device sensors, cameras, augmented reality, or manual input. You may use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Measurement accuracy

Measurements produced by the App are estimates and may not be completely accurate. Accuracy may be affected by device hardware, camera and sensor quality, lighting, surface characteristics, distance, movement, AR tracking, environmental conditions, and placement of measurement points.

Independently verify important measurements. The App is not a replacement for professional or certified measuring equipment.

3. Safety-critical and professional use

Do not rely solely on the App where an inaccurate measurement could cause injury, property damage, financial loss, or another significant consequence, including construction, structural engineering, electrical work, medical use, industrial operations, or safety-critical installations. Use suitable professional equipment or qualified professionals.

4. Camera and AR safety

Stay aware of your surroundings while using camera or AR features. Do not use the App while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation where looking at your device creates a safety risk.

5. Premium subscriptions

The App offers two auto-renewable subscription options:

• Annual: includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Unless canceled before the trial ends, it converts to a paid annual subscription at the price shown before purchase.
• Weekly: begins as a paid subscription when you confirm the purchase and does not include a free trial.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation, except that an eligible annual trial is charged when the trial ends. Each subscription renews automatically for the same duration at the price shown by Apple unless you cancel it before renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

6. Purchases and refunds

Apple processes App Store purchases under its payment and refund policies. We do not directly process your App Store payment information. Refund requests for purchases processed by Apple should be submitted to Apple.

7. Advertising and third-party services

The free version may display third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for third-party advertisements, products, websites, or services. Your interaction with them is governed by the applicable third party’s terms.

8. Intellectual property and license

The App and its original software, design, graphics, branding, and text are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable law. Subject to these Terms and Apple’s usage rules, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App except where applicable law permits.

9. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the App unlawfully; interfere with its operation or security; seek unauthorized access; circumvent purchase, advertising, subscription, or feature restrictions; use automation to abuse or disrupt the App; or misrepresent your relationship with us.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available or work on every device or operating-system version.

11. Warranty disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, measurement accuracy, or fitness for every purpose. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of or inability to use the App, including loss caused by reliance on inaccurate measurements. Nothing excludes liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

13. Apple terms

The App is licensed, not sold. Use through the App Store is also subject to Apple’s applicable Media Services Terms and Standard End User License Agreement. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple; we are responsible for the App and its content.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of misuse, a violation of these Terms, a legal or security requirement, or discontinuation of the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country or region.
