Privacy policy
How AC Remote Free handles Apple Home access, settings, weather, notifications, advertising, and purchases.

This policy applies to AC Remote Free, published by FREE MOBILE APPS STUDIO ONE MEMBER COMPANY LIMITED (“we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains how information is handled when you use the app.
1. Home controls and local app data
The app requests access to Apple Home to find and control compatible climate devices. Device settings, room selections, schedules, timers, maintenance records, preferences, and manual city choices are stored on your device unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise. The app does not require an account.
2. Location, weather, and notifications
If you choose local weather insights, the app may request location access or use a city you enter to obtain weather information from Apple Weather. Notification permission is used for timers and maintenance reminders. You can deny these permissions and continue using features that do not need them.
3. Apple and device services
Apple processes Home, Weather, location, and notification information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your Apple Account password or complete Apple Home configuration.
4. Advertising and purchases
The free version may display third-party advertising. Advertising providers may process device identifiers, IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and usage data to provide, secure, measure, or personalize ads where permitted. Apple processes ad-free subscriptions or lifetime purchases and provides transaction information under its own privacy policy.
5. Sharing and legal disclosures
We do not sell the content you create in AC Remote Free. Information may be processed by the providers described above only as needed to operate a feature, process a purchase, provide advertising where applicable, secure the service, or comply with law. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, or prevent fraud and abuse.
6. Retention and security
Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app, subject to device backups. Service providers retain information according to their policies and only as long as needed for their stated purpose, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
7. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, they are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards under applicable law.
8. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children below the age at which they may consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately.
9. Your choices
You can change Home, location, notification, and tracking permissions in device Settings; remove schedules and maintenance records in the app; limit personalized advertising where supported; and uninstall the app to remove local data, subject to device backups.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
