Terms of use

1. The app

AC Remote Free controls compatible climate devices exposed through Apple Home and may provide timers, room status, weather insights, and maintenance reminders. Available controls depend on your device, Apple Home configuration, accessory, network, and operating-system version.

2. License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for lawful purposes on devices you own or control. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, bypass security or purchase controls, interfere with the service, or misuse the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

3. Compatible devices and commands

We do not guarantee that every air conditioner or command will be supported or that a device status will always be current. You remain responsible for confirming that commands, schedules, and timers were received and applied.

4. Safety and critical environments

Do not rely on the app as the only means of controlling temperature where failure could harm people, animals, property, medicine, food, equipment, or other temperature-sensitive items. Keep a working physical control and appropriate monitoring for critical environments.

5. Advertising and purchases

The free version may show advertising. Annual, weekly, or lifetime ad-free options may be offered through the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple Account before renewal. The price, trial, duration, and entitlement shown by Apple before purchase control.

6. Updates and availability

We may update, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, compatibility, legal compliance, or product quality. We do not promise that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, accessory, service, or operating-system version.

7. Disclaimer

Commands, timers, weather information, and maintenance reminders are provided for convenience and may be delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate because of networks, accessories, Apple services, permissions, or device conditions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or business interruption arising from use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security risks, nonpayment, abuse, or material violations of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or the law that must apply in your country or region.
